About Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year is also an opportunity to reflect on the past year and look forward to what lies ahead. The Chinese New Year is observed by millions around the world and is one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture. During this celebration, people decorate their homes with red lanterns, set off firecrackers, give out gifts, exchange cards and letters, eat special foods like dumplings or noodles and perform traditional dances such as lion or dragon dances. People also visit their relatives during this time to wish them luck for the coming year. It is a time for joyous celebration and reflection as we welcome in another new year!
